The angel seemed to have left me. It’s been 3 months since I’ve seen her. Been seeing the doctor more and more with each passing day. He says that I’m getting closer to being cured. Of course, I had to stop telling that I was seeing things. Otherwise, I would stay in the loony bin for the rest of my life.

A surprise visit. Nurse April came to check up on me. “Steven, is it true. Do you not see the demons anymore?” Was she here, sent by the doctor, to test me? No, I don’t think she would be up with that plan. Just in case though. “Yea April. The demons have left me. It all came true. This horrible nightmare is coming to a close.” She looked a little sad when I said this. Who cares. I would be out soon. Then this place really will be a memory. “Steven, I’m sorry.” What the hell was she sorry for? As far as I can remember, she was the only one nice to me. ******** it. Let the woman remain a mystery.

Two months passed. The doctor said that I was cured. That I could go home the next day. I wasn’t happy to hear the news. I wasn’t cured. I lied to him, so I could get myself out of there.

What if I were to come clean. Tell him that I’ve been lying, that I can still see the demons and angels. Would he commit me for more time? I ignored that thought, and decided to keep it to myself

The next day, I was released. Took a big smell of the outside world. It’s been a while since I’ve been out. Started walking down the street and there she was. The ******** angel. She was waiting for me. I walked passed her and she begun to follow.

“Hello Steven. It’s been a while since I’ve seen you.” I tried to ignore her. I tried to make her go away. I didn’t work. “So, did you think what I’ve told you?” I stopped
