Damon: Akiko thinks that Damon doesn't take his sacred duty seriously enough. She does recognize that he tries to do the right thing, and is willing to put up a fight if need be. She tends to enjoy his company, even if he eats her out of house and home.

Eric: No real use except to move heavy things, or cause a distraction. Aki has had very little direct interaction with him.

Stephen: At first she saw him as a weak link, but with the synthesis of Tahl, Akiko is willing to believe that Stephen might become a suitable warrior. She valued Tahl's insights.

Mags: Mags has a great sense of honor and duty, which Akiko respects even if she disagrees with her. Akiko believes that Mags should learn to trust her and the others more.

Grace: A true warrior and a true ally. Grace might be too loose of a cannon, however to be a truly valuable ally.

Kaleb: Kaleb is one of the more stable members of the band, so Akiko looks to him as leader. Akiko slowly began noticing Kalb's subtle gentleness and vulnerability more as time went on, and fell quietly in love.

Haruko: Cannon fodder.

Clio: If Damon isn't serious, Clio is completely apathetic to the cause.

Akiko's Godly appearances depend on her function. Dressed as a young woman prepared for burial, Akiko is the Princess of the Reapers (Shinigami no Hime) and either sharp-faced and wild-eyed wearing a black kimono becoming The Spirit of Death, killing those whose time is yet to come. Or she is of a softer countenance wearing white as The Guide of the Peacefully Departed. Akiko sometimes appears as a solid-black, apparently nude figure and is know as The Secret, the patron of ninja and mercenary. Others she appears as a young professional woman dressed in a grey suit becoming The Ambassador of Propriety.
