I started writing something the other day, and there is just sooo much editing on it I can't read it cuz there's a lot of scratch outs and arrows so I'm gonna type up what it should look like after all that gunk is taken care of so yeah:
The dim lighting in the room accentuated the dark red walls and the radio on the bookshelf played light, mellow music. The ambiance gave the woman a warm feeling in the very core of her soul. She looked around with soft, glazed eyes as she lay on the bed sideways with her head at the end of the bed and her legs slightly curled up towards her body. In the space her figure created on the mattress lay her little baby. Still with her soft eyes, she took in the image of her child while he slept. His rosy cheeks moved up and down as he took light breaths that the woman could even hear over the low bass chords because her face was only a few fingers apart from his.
It still needs a lot more editing but it took forever just to write that sweatdrop I have more ideas to work with so i can write more than i have here but i dont want to go off on a tangent so im gonna wait until i have a set plot and then i'll finish that up maybe....but if it ends up being something it's only gonna be a short story...even though it'd be cool to write a novel, im not one of those people that enter WriMos so i don't have it in me to write blaugh this only popped into my mind one night because there was some really soothing backdrop music playing and... i dunno xp i just hope it turns into something....
