I wrote it for my best friend, enjoy! You are the, (pause) thing I wake up just to see, the one who makes me feel happy and free, walking down the path, I turn and look back, Do I really want to go this wwwaaaayy? Yeah, I'm navigating away from husband and wife, it's clouding up my, siiiight. I want to be different, that is what I meant, pick the flower from the field no one ever picks. Cus, you are the Flower of my life, so tender and bright, you give me back my sight, yeah. Cus life is dark and bleak without you, if you weren't here, I don't know what I'd do. It's so simple you see, the feelings for you inside of mmmeeeee. These feelings bloom beautifully inside me, cus you are my happiness. Just like something salty that makes my mouth dry, I can't enough of yyyooooouuuu. On top of the shed, the universe is so red with our love. We burn down things with our passionate feelings of love. Everything around us burns to ashes as we hold each other in our arms, but we take no notice of it. You are the flower of my life, I picked you when I was blind. You may not be the prettiest flower, but you are a beautiful goddess to me. Don't cut off your petals anymore, else you will be at death's door. Never ever leave me, cus you are the flower of my life. It's only a matter of time until I place you in a vase full of love's water, oh so divine flower of my life. (x8, fade out.)
