You know, I've been thinking of this for a while, and finally came up with a cohesive backstory for the character of That Guy/Unbridled Originality.

For a long time, I tended to change his story based on what he was wearing, but that really didn't satisfy me.

So I decided to unite all of the plot holes with one simple fact.
Unbridled is a compulsive liar.

Each of the backstories that he mentions are simply tales that he made up.

Unbridled was born yesterday, to Atomos, the Devourer, and Time. From an early age, he showed great promise, taking the destructive attitude of his father. Then, when his younger brother was born (also yesterday, but a different yesterday than the one Unbridled was born in) Unbridled, or Titivillus, as is his real name, left home and moved to the underworld, where he became a tempter.

It was a job at which he failed miserably. Each of the people he tempted ended up going to heaven. He was laid off in quite a nasty fashion by Lucifer himself.

Titivillus roamed the ages, settling on the name Unbridled Originality after several brief experiments (Siggy Moondust did NOT go over well.)

He can usually be found around Barton, doing magic tricks for people on the street, copiously drunk. He doesn't have to be, but he likes the sensation.

He also does kid's parties.
