I'm so happy heart ! I can't believe that I did this well! I was fencing this small, unrated tournament this weekend and I won! It isn't that I won that made me happy, but it was the fact that I finally got a rating! I know that all of you who don't fence are probably looking rather confusedly at your computer, but a rating is a really important this in fencing (or at least to me). Ratings go from A to E, and when you start, you are labeled as unrated. You gain a rating by beating a certain number of people in a tournament. I had been a U (unrated) for three years and finally I went to a good competition and fenced well. I had been waiting for a really long time to get a goddamn rating and I finally got one! (I got a D) xd .
Well, unfortunately, the guy that I like wasn't at the competition, and it proved to be rather boring, just standing around waiting to get a ride home.Oh well. I guess that I have time. I'm just debating whether to just ask him out. I think that he will refuse, because he still has that little bother called a pride. He said that he could probably never accept a date if a girl asked him. he was asked to homecoming and didn't go with anyone because a girl asked him and he turned her down. Does that mean that I have to wait for him to ask me out (as if) or do I just ask him out like a friend, and see it things go on from there? I really need help, please speak up! crying
I can't believe that my whole weekend is already over. xp I know that I did a lot of stuff this weekend, but I still feel that I didn't get any sleep time (I know, I'm boring, but I also had to wake up at 6:30 to get to the fencing competition). xp xp xp Oh yeah, and our car ran out of gas on the way there scream . It really sucked. We managed to coast off of I-25. Then we spent like a half an hour looking for a gas station, with no luck. The closest one was definitely not in walking distance on a 35-degree day. Anyway, we ended up having a cop drive us to the gas station, so it ended up all right in the end, and I made the close of registration by 10 minutes. Good thing that we left so early. domokun domokun domokun domokun domokun domokun domokun
