It was two hours after the encounter with the man known as the two girls father. Trenity and Sarenity were now sitting on the stairs of the house glancing at one another. Tears were still streaming down their cheeks from what had happened.
Sarenity hissed as the hot tears stung her swollen, bloody lips. She broght her shakey fingers up to her lips and pulled them away. She looked down at them and closed her eyes. She whipped the blood from her lips onto her pants and glanced to Trenity.
Sarenity shook her head, " I.. I can't believe we.. we let this happen. " She said trying not to stutter, failing somewhat.
Trenity looked up from haveing her head bowed towards the floor. Her eyes red from all the crying she had just done. A few tears still trailed their way down her swollened cheeks. " I know.. " She whispered.
Sarenity moved some and sat next to Trenity. They didn't move after that. They both stayed quiet in their own thoughts. Trenity was the first to break the deafening silence that was happening between the two of them. She gave a light sigh and looked up to Sarenity and ran her fingers over the girls cheeks.
Sarenity gave a light hiss at the contact of Trenitys fingers on her cheeks soon became less hurtful. She triled to smile but her lips only got worse. She could taste her own blood in her mouth. She looked down at the floor as tears threatend to fall.
Trenity had watched Sarenitys reactions and removed her fingers from the girls cheeks and rebbed her arms. Light bruises could be seen there. Goosebumps ran up and down her arms as she remembered the incident that accured a few hours before.
" Why? " Trenity asked.
" I don't know.. " Sarneity replied.
" He is your father. "
Sarenity looked to Trenity with a glare, " And? " She asked somewhat hurt.
" You should know why. You lived with the man longer than I have. He is biologically your father. So you should know why he does, what he just did. " Trenity said her voice rising with each word that left her mouth.
" No I do not. Just because he is my father does not mean I know him as well as you think I do. I know as much as you do about father. "
Trenity kept her eyes on Sarenity as they roamed over her face for any sign of anything. Her eyes softened and she looked away from her, " Sorry... " She said quietly.
Sarenity would have smiled but instead she gave Trenity a light hug trying not to hurt the girl or herself in the process.
Both girls had moved away from each other and made their way up the stairs to take showers. There was more than one shower in the house and they both seperated to take their showers.
Moments later Trenity had stepped out of the tub. She had dried her self and looked at herself in the mirror. She couldn't believe what she saw. Blue and Pruple colored buises was all she could see. Her eyes lightly teary as she saw what the one she called father could do. ' I hate him ' Was all she thought at the moment. She took her eyes off the bruises and reached for her brush and began to brush her hair.
Sarenity had soon exited the tub and dried herself off. She stepped infront of the mirror and looked herself over. Bruises on her cheeks where her father had hit her. Her lips still swolled and red from where the blood was. Her legs lightly bruised but not as bad as her cheeks. She put her hands on either side of the sink and bowed her head. ' What have you done father? ' She kept asking herself in her head. Sarenity tried keeping her mind on something and reached for her toothbrush.
The day was almost over for the girls as they layed cuddled on the bed. Sarenitys head on Trenity shoulder and her arm acrossed her stomache. She had her eyes closed as she let Trenity play with her hair. Trenitys head against the head board of her bed, running her fingers through Sarenitys red hair. They never spoke of what had happened and didn't plan on it. The sooner they forget it ever happened, the sooner they could get on with their lifes.
A loud bang of a door slamming shut from down stairs made the girls eyes snap open. Neither of them moved as they heard a womans voice shouting at someone else. They both guessed as their brother. A few minutes later heavy footsteps of someone running got their attention. The footsteps went past their room and then a door slammed again. Sarenity and Trenity waited for something else like more shouting, or a door slam, broken glass. Nothing of the sort.
" Odd.. " They said at the same time.
An hour passed, and then two hours. It was deadly quiet. Both girls were getting worried for some reason. Something was wrong. Their had been neither screaming or broken glass against the walls. They heard light footsteps near their room and both girls were fixed on the door waiting for something bad to happen.
" Girls? " A womans voice asked from on the other side of the door.
Sarenity raised an eyebrow and Trenity coughed trying not to laugh.
" They left for vacation. Please leave a message they will ge3t back to you momentarily. " Trenity said sarcasticly.
The woman on the other side of the door seemed not to like the sarcasm from Trenity. Which they both seemed to notice when the door slammed open. A dark blonde haired woman stood in the doorway. Her hazel eyes glared upon the two girls in the bed. Her hands fixed at her sides lightly clenched together. " What? " She asked.
Trenity blinked and began to smirk, " Did you not hear me, Mariam? " She asked.
Sarenity layed their listening to the two. She gave a roll of her eyes and looked to the woman in the door way. ' Mother dear.. seems to have lost her touch. ' She thought to herself.
The mother or Mariam as Trenity seemed to keep calling her walked towards the girls. She gave a glance around the room ignoring the fact that they were there. She picked up a peice of clothing and dropped it. " You two need to clean this room. Now! " She said shouting the last part as an order.
The girls jumped at the loudness of her voice. They looked up at her and Trenitys smirk seemed to dissapear. They still just layed there deciding if they wanted to move or wait. Mariam glared not seeing them move and picked up the make up kit that they had and threw it at them. The girls eyes widened and rolled of the bed.
Sarenity watched the kit hit the wall and break apart at the sudden contact of the wall and the kit against each other. The make up from the kit fell to the ground and some on the bed. ' Guess I was wrong about mother dear. ' She thought to herself.
Trenity shook her head and picked up some of the makeup that was from the kit and placed it on her bed. She watched some of the plastic part of the kit slide down behind the head board and sighed. ' Great.. ' She thought.
Mariam watched the two girls reactions and smirked. ' Bunch of small kittens once they see who is boss. ' She thought to herself.
" Get this mess cleaned up, Or I will see to it that your father deals with you. " She threatend and turned on her heels to leave the room. She slammed the door as she exited the room making the pictures on the walls rattle.
The girls had jumped up from sitting on the floor to clean. They put their clothes away. In their dresser and their closset making everything to mothers expectations. They sighed and cleaned their mothers mess of the make up kit. As they finished and went to get back in bed they heard the door open.
" Now what! " The two girls screamed tiredly.
