Himmel (Graphic Novel Short)
Okay, I think I've actually found a way that I will use my journal. So I realized I haven't really posted art in awhile on Gaia for multiple reasons. Mainly I call the LoTR subforum home and I only post Tolkien fanart there and I honestly haven't done any of that for quite awhile, which leaves me with the picture post. And I can think of fifty different BETTER places to post art in an instant. I realized while I used to post my art all the time I haven't posted almost sketchbooks full recently. I was flipping through my recently full sketchbook and found this short graphic novel I did. It's the first I've ever finished, given it's only eight pages.. but still that's something for me. So I figured I'd post it and get opinions.
Okay so just to set up what's going on, back story time. This is about a new character of mine. A German vampire named Himmel (cookies for who ever knows what his name means). Himmel was originally created for a roleplaying game called World of Darkness (like vampire/werewolf/changling/maged up D&D for those of you who've never heard of it) and I didn't do that much with him. After awhile though I really started wanting to create more of a back story for him. And so here is the beginning of that. The best place I figured to start with vampire back story, the turning. Basically what's happened is Himmel is nineteen and fighting in The (well of one of the) German Revolution, he's struck down during the fight and has just woken up.

I like the art in it; My browser won't let me zoom in, so I can only see minimal amounts of the dialogue ( Other than the fact that it's in german with translations, which is like, uber kewl. I also presume that the name "Himmel" means "Heaven" due to the last bit of dialogue..? )
Have I ever told you that I positively ADORE the way you draw feet? Specifically boots? *Is weird.*
I think I intended to say something else, but I forgot it. xd
