Quote: Every ounce of his body screamed at him to kill her. He couldn't. She was his love, the person he couldn't live without, the one that stayed beside him even when the strange creature attacked him. He had hit her in his transformation under the moon while they were out walking in the forest. Blood had poured from her mouth, but she clung to him, begging him to regain himself. He flung her from him. His mind was there, consious, but his body moved on it's own. The rabid nature of a beast corsing through him. She crawled to him, having hurt her leg. "Kaname.." she whispered his name, "Kaname, come back to me." She said, her beautiful eyes filling with tears. He screamed at his body, wanting to tell her to run from him. His body moved to her slowly, bending as if to press it's lips against hers. He watched in horror as his hand dove into her chest. Her soft breasts coated in blood. She gasped softly as her tears fell onto his wrist. Her blood, her tears, her heart, he could feel them all... He was killing her. Her body trembled slightly as she fell away from his hand in death. A long mornfull howl was all he could manage. His love, killed by his own hand....
Years later he sat in a different town, one close to the woods. He lived alone and frightened anyone who approched him, with good reason. He had not allowed himself to get close to anyone incase they fell witness to his horrible transformations. He held a job as a forest ranger. This gave him the excuse of being lost for a night within the woods. He was looking at paper work infront of him, signing a few things when the door to his cabin/office opened, the small bell ringing softly. He looked up as his body tensed slightly.
Quote: The cords echoed through the empty hotel room. As his hands moved with perfect ease across the bridge, his mind replayed the things he saw that night. He had walked into his apartment that him and his girlfriend shared. That day he had bought a ring for her. He was going to take her out to dinner that night, but he had to call and cansel. His job kept him late into the evening and the reservations had to be called off. He was looking forward to making her breakfast in bed that morning and asking her then. He figured she would be in bed, asleep as she always was. She wasn't asleep...
He shut his eyes, trying to block the image from his imagination. There she was... with his best friend. His guitar slipped from his fingers as they reached to cover his face. He had been blind... Blind to believe the sweet friendship that had bloosomed between the two of them had been inosent. He had been working hard so they could keep the apartment so that she could work on her modeling. He pulled the ring from his pocket, the diamond sparkling in the moonlight...So much for love...
The next day he got up and went to the apartment, knowing she would be gone. He packed up all of his things and tossed them into his car. He had made his choice. That morning, he had also found a small apartment in the next town over. A new job, a new house. He pulled up his long hair into a pony tail as he drove. He had quit his job so he didn't have to worry about working for a day or so. Two hours later he pulled up into the parking lot....
