The idea was ridiculous, that being the best word for a description. The three girls couldn't help but laugh at June's "ingenious" idea to help Kat get through the presentation. As the teacher called their names they lined up in front of the class. There Gallin was smiling at her, looking right into her eyes. He seemed so smooth, calm and assured of himself. Katrina grew angry as she thought of what she was prepared to do so that he would not fluster her. She was not going to give him the satisfaction of knowing how she felt about him. That smug smile on his face, that she was sure he thought so charming, was going to slide right off. She glared right at him, then ignored him through the rest of the presentation. The classroom applauded politely, as the three girls took their seats. "Katrina you were awesome! We'll get an A for sure," Tiffany whispered. "You didn't even need to cover your face with the map." "I've just decided," Katrina responded, "that I'm not going to let him disturb my day, he has no right..." "Okay let's have the next group!" Mr. called out and the three friends had to delay their conversation 'til after class.
