I've come across this in various phrases and in various places:
"Music is my life." I don't know, but I find this very interesting because a lot of people claim that they cannot work without music or sound of some sort. I used to think this way, but when I started college, I realized that I worked SO much better with OUT music and I could concentrate more on my task at hand. I don't know, perhaps it's different for different people.
My dad once told me that "people who say they can't work without music or sound are wrong. The best place to work is in a quiet area." I'm really starting to think he's right. During high school and middle school I've always told my parents that I couldn't work without music. But when I reflect on my past, I see that music seemed to give me ADD or ADHD or something of the like. I could not keep myself concentrated, no matter what genre of music it was: J-pop, hip-hop, trance, heck, I couldn't even pay attention when I was listening to classical.
Oh well, so those are my two cents. I can live without music, so maybe you can too...someday I might expand on this concept...or maybe I won't. We'll see.
