Sophi Update; Yesterday; Other Stuff^^ |

Hello, Heylow, Halo again^^ I have an unhealthy obsession with writing in this thing......seriously. Whenever something happens, I'm like "I've gotta write a journal about that!" and then I have that same thought redundantly until I get the chance to write XD
OK, so yesterday was Sophia's first trip to the mall and it was fantastic^^ Sophia, Mima, and myself went to the mall strictly to hit JCPenny's for shoes for me. We ended up looking at all the sale items and I got: a pair of running shoes {to help me take care of my Sophi fat}, two packages of socks, three shirts {one of which'll be for Christmas}, 18 bangles, a few hair ties of my own because I'm tired of the twins losing theirs, a pair of butterfly earrings, and lunch XD Sophia ended up with 5 new sleepers, 2 pairs of shoes, 2 packages of socks, a birthday dress, a Christmas dress, a birthday outfit, an outfit to wear now, and a few bites of my lunch. Mima didn't buy anything for herself, but she made sure to bring home a shirt for the kids, including Shadow. The girls now have two Christmas outfits and a shirt or two a piece that Mima's hiding from them. They also got about two shirts to wear now, so they made out almost as well as Sophi did XD
So after blowing way more money than we intended to, we went to the food court for lunch and I had chicken teriyaki with mashed potatoes and green beans. The greens were already cold by the time Mima brought them to the table, which wasn't far from the place, so I didn't eat more than two. I've come to learn that Sophi doesn't like mashed potatoes....at all. I've given her instant, homemade, and mall potatoes and she doesn't like any of them. However, she's a chicken hound. She loves any and all types of chicken. Anyway, while Mima was ordering the food, I took Sophi out of the stroller and sat her on the table. We played together for a few minutes^^ She was bouncing and laughing and talking. It was highly amusing. Somehow, she managed not to hurt me at all for once so I was thrilled^^ After lunch we rolled her over to this play area they have set up with giant plastic food for kids to play on. Sophi had a blast. She met another little Spanish girl that's a month and a half older than her and Sophi followed this girl around like she was her best friend. If the girl sat and bounced, Sophi did too. If the girl climbed on something, Sophi did to. Wherever the girl went, Sophi went. XD So we took Sophi to the carousel- that's right; a carousel in the middle of a mall; I'm not making this up, I swear. I didn't believe it at first, either. Then I rode it, and now I'm a believer XD- and she loved it. She was bouncing and trying to lean over the rail and laughing, pretty much doing almost everything in her power to scare the s**t out of me.....Then we took her to the photo booth and got pictures of her and I together to document it and such^^ After all that, we still weren't done. We went to the car and drove around to the other side of the mall and went into Sears, where we spent more money XD While Mima was looking in the kids' department, Sophi and I found a Pooh Bear stuffed animal on a hangar and she played with it for a minute or two. Oh yeah! Sophi's a sneaky wench too. Somehow she got ahold of a Cheetah Girls tag and was chewing on it when I looked in the stroller five or so minutes after we had left the Cheetah Girls section. After all of that, we were finally done. Poor little Lord Soph {inside joke} was exhausted and fell asleep on the car ride home.
You'd think I'd be done talking typing by now, but I'm not. 4laugh So, we get home and my mother calls and I'm telling her about Sophi's epic tale of awesomeness and Suki beeps in. Well, I forgot why she'd be calling so I kinda ignored her because I didn't think it was important. {Sorry Suki} However, when I got off the phone with my mother, I remembered.....Suki wanted to have a group date at Tijuana Flats. So, the only people that showed up were the five her sister chauffeured over; go figure. It was still fun, though^^ Sophi had to be taken to my mother's house before we left because Mima still had errands to run. We got home at quarter after 10 and Sophi was gone- asleep, I mean. I wanted to sleep, but Shadow wouldn't let me....We ended up watching Hellboy 2 before we finally called it a night....at three am.
OK....just went to breakfast with Mima, Sophi and Shadow....'Twas fun^^ And for the first time ever, I received a comment before the entry was finished. And yes, savemefromthedark, she is XD
Sophi update: She crawls quickly,but she's a speed demon in her walker....Toes beware! She bounces when she's happy and she dances in her walker when Disney's Imagination Movers are on. She likes watching Playhouse Disney in the mornings while Mommy checks her Gaia^^ Mmk. I think that should do it for now^^ heart
