The people at my school do not know good music when they hear it, obviously. I suppose I should be happy; after all, tons of people tried out and only got into the chorus, no distinguishing role at all.
In the play, I'm one of the motorwise girls. This basically means that four other girls and I have our own dance and song, and then we sing backup for some of the major characters.
I know, that I should have gotten a better role! But I'm just going to be the best dang motorwise fgirl there ever was, and when the girl who plays the lead skips practices, or sings like crap, then they'll regret that they didn't pick me.
And I'm going to learn the script off by heart so that I can be everyone's understudy.
But I have another audition today for a smaller production that we're doing, which is a Midsummer Night's Dream. I want the part of either Puck (he may be a guy, but a girl's going to get him because there is a shortage of guys), Helena, or Hermia.
