We all got in the car at 12:01 at night. The air was a sweet dew smell, I breathed in all of it. Our minds were filled with thoughts of the movie we just saw. "Wow That was awesome!" Bridget says as she puts the car into reverse and drives off. I have my window as I watch the dim lights go past us. I sigh, wishing I could just sit and take in this midnight glory. Everyone's talking,but I keep my mouth shut, I don't feel like talking. I've already seen the movie twice. Jason taps my shoulder. I look over at him and smile. "Whats wrong?" He asks. I've always had a little crush on Jason,He's one of my best friends,but that feeling recently faded and it makes me sad. "Nothing, I'm fine." I lie. I don't actually know what is wrong with me,but there is something wrong. I'm not usually this melancholy. "Okay." He says, and I turn back to look out my window. We're almost to my house and I can't wait to slip under my big comfy covers and drift off to sleep. Then thats when I saw him. Standing there under the park light, lighting up a cigarette. He smiled and I saw the glim of fangs, he winked and suddenly he was gone. I stared wide-eyed at the spot where the man use to stand. I put my head back into the car, in fear. Did he really see me? Could He really See? Fear surged through out my body. "Hey Are you Okay Analeigh?" I couldn't speak, so I only nodded. We made it to my house, and the rest of the gang waved goodbye and drove off. Once they were gone I ran into my house and locked the door. I ran to my room and fled under my covers like a little kid, as if they could protect me. "Why are you so scared of me Ana?" The familiar voice asked. I cringed and screamed in fear,but I never heard my voice. I grabbed my throat and tried to scream again,but nothing. "Ana, don't you love me?" He asked again and thats when I passed out.
