Night and me floated up the stairs while Abby trudged up the steps. There were so many I thought Abby would be out of breath by now,but when reached her Apartment door she seemed fine. She ruffled in her purse for her keys. Night tried to peek into the contents of her purse,but she closed it and snarled at him. He glared before backing off. She started to ruffle in her pants pocket and pulled out a huge thing of keys and keychains. Night and my widened our eyes at the crazy cluster. "Jeez Abby have enough keys?" I asked. She grabbed one key from the Cluster without even looking and slipped it into the lock. "Okay lets go!" We floated into her Apartment. It was very big and very nice. Lots of art was all over the room and I goggled at each and every painting that hung on the walls. Night floated by and sat gently on the light blue and red patterned couch. I went over to a painting that my eyes couldn't look away from. It was an interpretation of Alice in Wonderland,but it was very dark and it was in black and white. "Wow Abby where did you get all these paintings." She was setting her keys down. "Oh, My boyfriend is an Artist." She took off a coat that I never knew she was wearing and hung it on a coat rack that was twisted to look like a tree. "You have a boyfriend?" I asked, surprised. She laughed. "Yeah I met him about a year ago, He about did every art in this Apartment!" I went to sit next Night who was less entertained about Abby's personal life. A knock came from the door and all eyes went to it. "Oh that must be him. Speak of the Devil." She walked over to the door and looked to the eye hole. Without a moment of decision she opened the door and hugged the man I supposed was her boyfriend. They kissed and gave a sound out that sounded like Yuck,but it was more of a snarl. I hit his arm telling him to shush. The man came in and sat on a chair right across from him. "Abby does he know your a medium?" Abby shook her head without the man seeing. "Oh....whats his name?" Abby smiled and walked over to him. "I'm glad you could make it over her Adam." She put a lot of emphasis on His name. Well this was Adam..my best friend's boyfriend. Wow..she got someone who was pretty nice looking. He had Dark brown hair that in the light seemed to have streaks of silver. His eyes were a blue I'd never seen ever in my life or afterlife. He was strikingly beautiful. I awed those beautiful eyes. Night apparently noticed and punched my arm to get my attention. When I turned to look at him he suddenly kissed me. I could tell he was jealous. "What was that for?" He smirked. "I wanted to remind you!" He said and sat back in his chair. The area where my heart should have been vibrated with some energy. I felt like I could move any object in this room with my new energy. Night kept staring at Adam not a stare of Awe,but a stare of curiosity. "What is it Night?" Night sat up and stared a little longer at Adam before turning to me. "I don't know..he looks kinda familiar." He sighed. "Must be someone I've seen before." With that he let it go. "So Abby are you going to tell your 'cupcake' here that you can see us spirits?" Asked Night. Abby glared and shook her head. "Abby I wanted to come over to ask you something! I was wondering if your going to go with my to Art Convention on Friday!" Abbye frowned. "Um, I have plans." He turned to her surprised. "What?" She sighed. "Yeah..I have to meet some friends that I haven't seen in a while." Adam turned back and looked at his boots. "Oh, Well thats okay then..thats why I wanted to come over." He stood up and walked over to her. He put his finger under her chin and brought her face closer to his for a kiss. The passion lasted a while before Night coughed something that sounded like 'get a room'. Abby stopped. "Okay..I love you bye!" She hurried him out of the apartment and closed the door. With a Sigh she turned back to us. "Sorry."
