yeah...i has written poetry cause i miss gaara...he hasn't been on for like, four weeks crying (btw, if you read this ever, copy and paste your fav bit of this poem to your siggy and add my username, so every people's can see my work, pweeeeez!!!!)

What is Love?

When I was alone,
Lying cold in the dark.
The absence of light
Enough to make the fearless shudder.
And as your hands,
Your brilliant, glowing
Hands reached for this little girl
Crying in the dark,
Her surprise was only outmatched
By the shock of anything
That could possibly radiate that much light.
The soft touch of care
Was enough to give me my wings.
My tiny, gentle wings.
Barely enough to lift me off the ground,
And non-existent compared to your
Glorious, expanding flight,
Only matched by the splendor of heaven itself.
The love spawned by such an encounter
Cannot be shown to you,
Or possibly expressed
With a mortal human’s words,
For this love is bursting out,
Overflowing from my soul,
Bubbling up from the very depths of me.
And I can’t let it out,
So it hurts
In the most sickly sweet way.
And when you smile,
I know that it’s just for me,
My wings explode into a faultless luminosity,
And I can match your heights in the vivid skies.
You, the one who would reach out
His hand to the most neglected,
Most uncared for child,
And teach her what it means to love.
