KARRI'S POV
I was on my way to Archery, when Alex ran over. "What's up?" I wondered, thinking if he bugs me one more time, husband or not, he'll regret it. He looked like he had sent a message all over camp, and was getting tired of it. "New counselor, Jack, son of Apollo. We have to do a "campers welcome." I sighed. This would be boring. We took seats near the front, and I noticed the new counslor looking at me, and smiling. I wonder what he's thinking.
JACK'S POV
That other counselor is freakin' hot. I wonder if I should ask her out...
KARRI'S POV
I turned my attention to Chiron, and listened carefully. "This is our newest counselor, Jack, son of Apollo. Okay, that's it. Return to your normal activities."
Weird send-off, but, okay, I guess. Chiron didn't seem to notice it getting dark, and that since tommorow would be the last day of camp, Alex and I could come home to our kids. Actually, yeah. My friend, Rea, daughter of Hermes, is back at our house babysitting. Alex turned to me. "I saw him eyeing you... I wonder..." he stopped when Jack came over. "May I talk to Karri for a moment?" he asked Alex.
He shook his head, and Jack looked angry. He pulled me into a kiss before I knew what happened. I wasn't supposed to, but I was enjoying this. I kissed him back, my arms already around his neck. Alex looked angry, too now. I mean, wouldn't you be ticked off? I would. He put his arms around my waist, and we were having a tounge fight. We pulled away, and soon I felt I didn't like Alex much anymore. I didn't know why.
In the future, Alex had broken up with me after I had started to fall in love with Jack instead. We married, and I had soon forgotten Alex completely. Who knew one kiss could lead to so much? I sighed, pregnant with Jack and I's future child.
I still had one faint memory of that night, when Jack had pulled me away with just one kiss. He promised me anything in the world as long as we loved each other, and he would sacrifice his life to know that I loved him. We fell more in love each day, and we soon were inseperable. No matter how many boys had pulled me into a similar kiss, I never let go.
Back to bedtime.
I slipped into bed, Jack's arms around me. I felt safe, and loved. He turned me around to kiss me. I returned the favor, once again enjoying this new love. We looked into each others eyes, and soon we were lip locked again and again. When we had finally pulled away, he said, "I love you, Karri." I smiled. "I love you more than the world." I whispered. He kissed me one last time before we fell asleep.
