General Outlook On Life:
It used to be carefree and optimistic. She loved life and couldn't wait for another beautiful day to start.
Since the zombie uprising she has become stoic and strong-willed. She does what she has to survive, which is her only goal.
Strengths And Weaknesses:
Flaws: She is no good in close combat. She runs so as never to be in a situation where she would have to fight up close.
She often comes off as cold because of her survival driven attitude.
She hasn't spoken to many people since her husband and child died in the zombie wars, so her social skills are not where they should be [partially because of the lack of communication with another human and partially because she knowingly shut herself off].
Strengths: She's fairly athletic and in good shape. She can shoot her shotgun without being kicked back. She's a great shot with her glocks, because she has trained herself to be good.
Also, as stated before, she's very resilient and can adapt to most situations.
Appearance:
She's 5'7", athletic build, attractive, but not 'hot'
A bit skinny since she has had to ration her food, so her muscles [especially bicep and calf] protrude a little.
Straight, blonde hair that just a little past her shoulders [usually pulled back in a pony tail or 'up' in some way, out of her face]
No distinctive features or noticable scars
She wears either jeans or brown, capri cargo pants
Always wears tennis-shoes [gosh, i've never written that word before, i think, is that how you spell it?].
Also wears fitted t-shirts, sometimes with a longsleeve shirt underneath. Keeps her husband's old black hooded sweatshirt with her at all times in a Messenger bag that she always carries with her.

History:
Her childhood is insignificant, normal.
She met her husband, Frank, while they were both at college. They fell madly in love and married the year after she graduated. Frank was one year older than she. They had a normal life. They had one daughter, Brit [not short for Brittney, just Brit], their pride and joy.
She loved life and her family. Everything in her life was normal, middle-class and perfect...Until the zombies came.
Her daughter, age 6, was killed by [and turned into] a zombie first. The family of three had been fortified in their home since they were forced to take cover from the zombies. One morning, before her parents were awake, Brit saw an uninfected dog sniffing around in the backyard of their home and wanted to save it. Checking to make sure there were no 'monsters' around she quickly ran outside and snatched it up. As she ran back to the house she saw a child who had been recently turned. By this time, her parents had awoken and were frantically searching for her. They reached the back door as they saw her walk up to the new zombie boy and get scratched and bitten.
Since then, Dee has become emotionless.
She and Frank have practiced shooting and have become quite good shots.
Her husband was killed by [and turned into] a zombie just recently [w/in the past couple of weeks]. They had run to a neary by store to get more supplies [food, ammo, etc...] when they were 'ambushed' by a group of zombies. Frank sacrificed himself so Dee could survive as they had become overwhelmed.
She has been alone for about 2 weeks.
