That's right, after working on the new version of my drawing, I finally finished today. 1:30. I started, oh, last night around.. what was it? midnight? A little before? On just this drawing, I spent about 3 hours maybe. -Counts.- yep, about 3-4 hours. And I made countless mistakes along the way. She's supposed to have six tails, but I forgot to redraw one so now she just has five, and I didn't add highlights to her hooves like I was going to. But oh well. And I think I liked the first version a little better. I don't know why, but now the shadows and highlights don't look as natural.. I'll work on darker skin tones more from now on. I couldn't come up with a good tan color either. The entire time I was drawing ad coloring both versions, I had the old song "Home on the Range" looping through my head.
