OC'S POV (Courage, daughter of Athena)

I was getting ready for camp when the phone rang downstairs. Lucky me, my dad answered it. I heard him talking to his girlfriend, Mel. I hated her. She was secretly stuck up and snotty. Emphasis on the snotty; she always had colds. I nicknamed her germy.. Finally, I was ready, dad was done talking to germy, and the car was as always, the sun beating down. Apollo. I waved at the sun, and it looked like someone waved back. I smiled, knowing Thalia once had a crush on him. It was one of the few rumors that spreaded even to the Athena cabin. Another was that my half-sister, Annabeth, had a crush on Percy, from the Poseidon cabin. Don't get me wrong, i'm friends with both, but why can't they just admit they like each other? When I remembered that my mom was Poseidon's so called enemy, I shook the idea out of my head and got in the car. I saw my neighbor, best friend, and fellow camper, Anastasia, run from her apartment. She had wavy, brown hair, and tree-leaf green eyes. I sometimes called her flower child. Where did that nickname come from? Her mom WAS Demeter... she was waving her hands at me frantically. "What?" I shouted, as she ran towards the car and made a stop next to where my head was sticking out. She bended over to catch her breath. "Monster-in-my apartment..." she muttered. "Anyway, can I have a ride with you to camp? My dad had this botanist thingy convention to go to." I nodded, and she slipped in. Some explanation... but I decided she needed a ride from us for SOME reason. We talked about arcitechture and harvest for awhile before we arrived at camp. My dad helped with the luggage, not that I had alot. When we settled in, I took a look at Annabeth, who was reading: A GUIDE TO CITY-BUILDING, and half-staring into space. "Annabeth?" I called. She looked up from her book and nodded, as if to say, Yeah? "Why are you holding back?" After I said that, she stood up a little, and asked one question I could answer. "From what?" Or, not. "Just because mom will burn Percy to a crisp when she can, doesn't mean you can't take risks. Try, and you'll see what I mean."
ANNABETH'S POV
I knew what she was sayng. Tell Percy you like him. So much for ohers to say. She understood me, like Percy. She resembled a strong-willed, athletic, smart bookworm who was very brave, and beautiful, like most of my siblings. Well, for boys, not the beautiful part. But like Percy, she was a risk-taker, and chose to live life to the fullest. She believed that real wisdom meant trying and taking risks to make the world a better place. I, for one, didn't think it was the time to take risks.
It was the time to wait, and prepare for the future. It was time to tell Corina (what we called her) that now wasn't the time. We could never be together. It would cause more problems. Of course she knew that, but like I said, she was a risk-taker. She was sure our mom would burn him to a crisp and/or disclaim me, but she also knew that following your heart was the best of all. Perfect, huh? No. She was pretty bad at most things, yet made the best out of mistakes. She sat next to me, pulling a book called: LIVING AS AN ARCHITECT. "You know, just take the risk. Mom should have forgiven Poseidon a long time ago. That's her one unwise call. Don't make yours and forget Percy," she paused at bookmarked her page, "or Luke. Don't forget him either. You can still save him. We know you can. Just relax. The world will fall into place." Talk about your fortune cookies.

Corina is 18, and knows where i've been. She once had a crush on a boy Athena hated, and they were together now. She could help. or could she? I found that out when Percy was talking to her. She looked troubled, and maybe a little bit irriated. Percy could do that. Corina's wavy, honey blonde hair flew gently with the breeze, her eyes aimed straight at Percy. I walked over, and Percy turned around, just in time. He blushed a little, then turned to Courage/Corina. "Okay, you can go." he tered. I watched her dissapear into a crowd watching Clarisse beat up an Apollo camper.
