It’s raining outside, cold and hard
The children watch me, from the frozen lawn
Ice on the floor, as thick as a card
But through it all I still trudge on

It’s snowing now, flakes fall from the sky
Through the forest like a baby fawn
From their windows the families wave hi
But through it all, I still trudge on

Desert heat walking outside now
Walking on from dusk til dawn
To stop now I will not allow
But through it all I still trudge on….
