Interactions
People don’t know how to explain, the unexplainable, there for they leave things like they are or try to get rid of the ghost that possesses their house. What some don’t know is that, some of these innocent spirits aren’t all bad, some could want to interact with us for simple company, other’s want some love, others want their motherly love, and others want to live their lives all over again next to the living person that looks exactly like their loved one. At least in my case, that’s how it was. Who would have thought, I’d be friends with the most unlikely of beings.

Chapter 1: begin

“So are you exited in seeing the house for the first time?” My mom asked me, I was in the back seat looking at the scenario.

“I guess I am excited about seeing it for the first time, but I didn’t think it would be this far, and by far I mean different state” I replied to her as I looked outside the neighborhood.

“Hey mom?” I asked “why did you want to buy a house all the way out here, I mean, this neighborhood seems really rich”

“Well to be truthfully honest, it’s not; they practically almost gave it to me”

“How come you say that? What do you mean they gave it to you?” It seemed weird that my mom would say that, there had to be a reason for why she said that.

“Well, the owner of the house passed away and his children didn’t want the house, honestly I don’t understand why they would put it on the market, the house is so beautiful, it has a European style to it and I know you will love the house just like I do”

I left things there, and kept watching outside, I left so much back home but, I knew it was worth it, my mother had longed for it for a while.

We came up through a huge gate and wondered if that was our new home, my mother got out of the car and opened the gate. The place was huge, it had lots of trees and flowers, and everything was left like if the people moved out yesterday. My mom got back in the car and drove into the drive through, the place was filled with elegant sculptures and gorgeous green houses. I was quite amazed at all of it, but something was weird about it, it felt as though someone or something was watching us but, couldn’t quite put my finger on it. When we drove in, I saw these statues throughout the whole entire drive through, they were frightening but, at the same time they showed some sort of peace. It was quite creepy but at the same time you found yourself trapped in this essence of tranquility. We finally pulled up to the front of the ‘house’ and by house I mean literally the house (you know I am being sarcastic right?) it was this huge slap in the face. It was so elegant, such great architecture and grand entrance, somewhat fit for a grand party those thrown way, way, way, way back in those days.

“Mom, are you sure you didn’t pull a gun on the old man’s children?” I asked her as a gazed at the huge new home of mine.

“No, don’t be ridicules, how can you say that?” she said with a look on her face that said ‘you are one crazy child of mine’.

“No I’m just saying, for the prize you bought it and now looking at it, it looks like you would have robbed the local bank and bought the whole house, or better yet you hired a group of ninjas to kill the old man in order to get the house” she was walking up the stairs when she stopped at what I said, turned around and laughed.

We walked inside and saw some furniture still left behind. It seemed weird that the old man’s children didn’t take them with them; they even left an expensive piano! There were these Victorian chairs in a room that I had no idea if to call it the living room or my mom’s office. Everywhere you looked, you would find this Victorian furniture and portraits scattered all over the place, you couldn’t tell if the house came with furniture included in it or not, truthfully I believe my mom didn’t read the small print.

“Oh! But will you look at the time? I’m late for the first day at work, Mina I’ll leave the organizing to you ok; I’ll see you later today? Bye” and with that she left without me being able to say anything in return.

“Great, thanks for leaving me here without knowing my way around” I sighed “Well, to start off, I need to clean this place up because it is just too filthy” I looked at the house with my mind set on one goal… Please have a little mercy on me today God.
