Why is it that religious nuts discard science and facts and believe the mistranslated words of goat herders dead for 3000 years?

Please show me one single thing from the Bible that modern scientists have proven to be untrue. Come on!

Talking snakes, talking donkeys, people walking on water, people turning into chunks of salt, people living in whales stomach's for days, floods that covered every square inch of land- including Mt. Everest, hail on fire, six-headed beasts, flat earth, people coming to life from complete brain death, water turning into human blood, wooden sticks turning into snakes, snakes turning into wooden sticks, etc, etc, etc....
