WHOO! Yesterday was chaotic. I had family over- my mom’s side, and even then, the only ones she could talk to without ticking off the other members of said family sweatdrop . I was the youngest there stare .
It started with my cousin Sarah arriving in the morning (Her mom had come the day before). I came down around ten AM. Talked. Helped clean. Helped cook. Waited for my two other cousins, Dan and Matt, Matt’s girlfriend, my uncle, my aunt and her friend to come. My dad’s in San Francisco, so he dodged a bullet.
Hours passed. They did not come. My aunt text-messaged them saying “Where are you?” Dan said, “In Duxbury, getting the pastries”. Duxbury is right near where they were originally leaving from… And about an hour and a half away from my house. So, we’re all in a tizzy- “Why the hell didn’t they leave earlier?” (Because by this time, it was nearing 1:00 in the afternoon. We were eating dinner in two hours.
Close shave, right? stare
WRONG.
Turned out Dan was BS-ing us about where they were. They were actually 20 minutes from the house. So, Sarah and I loaded up some water guns in preparation. 20 minutes later, they get there, we spray them mercilessly with water. twisted
Perhaps I should have thought twice about that, because not even five minutes after we ended the attack, mom asked me to go with Matt, Dan and my uncle to show them to the store where they could get beer. Matt and Dan tormented me all the way there, and all the way back.
Matt’s thirty-something, Dan’s 29. Yet they act like some of the morons in my highschool. We get back, and I can’t really imagine how this must’ve looked to my mom, aunt, Sarah and Wendy (Matt’s girlfriend); I was screaming “NEVER AGAIN!” scream stressed And asking mom if I could sic our rather violent dog on the guys.
That’s when she told me that my beloved dog had bitten Wendy for trying to pet him sweatdrop . Lovely. Chalk up another injury inflicted by my cuddly little puppy. My aunt and her friend arrived, along with three more dogs.
The rest of the day continued with insults being passed between Sarah, Matt, Dan and myself. We even locked them out at one point twisted ... But my aunt let them back in.
At one point, Matt attempted to get back at me for the water gun thing, and sprayed me with a water bottle. I dumped half a can of diet coke on his back. xd mrgreen rofl Beautiful. Totally worth it. Totally worth my mother giving me the 'behave yourself' eye.
Lovely day. Really. It would have been lovelier if I could have tripped Matt, but since he's bigger than me, I'd probably break my leg...
