personality: He's basically carefree and hyper. He never lets nothing keep him down and fights to the bitter end. He also has a short temper and doesn't like it when people boss him around. He also tends to be a trouble marker and repeatably doesn't show up for classes. He also gets bored easily, but loves to take chances.

history: Kadin's family was never really around. His parents were constantly gone on business trips and his older siblings could care less about him. So he basically raised himself. That didn't bother him though, his friends constantly bug him about anything and everything. Anyways, when one of his friends had to go back into the school to get something. Kadin and his other friend went in to bodyguard her. That was the first time Kadin encountered the shadows. He had no idea what the heck they were and ended making a pact with another shadow, that was good.
Now Kadin is known as a shin, a human who is a creature of the shadow world and his destined to defeat the shadows. No normal human can see him, since he doesn't have a shadow and is known as a spirit now. But with a certain item, which is a doppelganger doll, he can switch back to being human. But when he needs to fight he just draws the idol out of his heart and becomes a shin.
other facts: With the doppelganger idol, Kadin is able to switch between his normal self and his shin self. Even though the shadow who he made a pact with, is constantly around him, which annoys the heck out of him. But the shadow is useful, since it helps Kadin out with facing the shadows and in sealing the rips, even there is any that are left behind.
