Summer was over. Well at least my birthday passed. I was now 14.
Now Kevin and I are starting our first day of high school.

Vaughn: Yes!

Kevin: *Sighs* This sucks.

Vaughn: Aren't you the one telling me before how you couldn't wait for this?

Kevin: That was before I knew we had to walk 7 blocks.

Vaughn: *Hits in the shoulder* Stop whining. This is gonna be great. Trust me.

As we both walked onto the grounds, I saw a whole bunch of people just gathering together. Great. We were total nobodys already.

Kevin: Who're those guys?

There were a group of guys over the far side, and they glanced over at us giving us funny looks.

Vaughn: *Walks over* Hey.

They paid me no mind.

Vaughn: Thinks: This is gonna be a bore.

Kevin: *Walks over* Lets just go.

Vaughn: *Sits down* *Sighs*

Kevin: What did I tell ya?

I wasn't paying attention because I saw something interesting.

Vaughn: Who's that...?

A girl. She was dancing like a belly dancer. Of course all the guys were hypnotized.
Including Kevin and myself.

Kevin: Wow...

Vaughn: *walks to crowd*

Kevin: What the hell are you doing?!

She stopped then gathered her things. I followed.

Vaughn: Ummm... hi?

Girl: Oh, hey.

Vaughn: A name?

Girl: Huh?

Vaughn: I was asking your name.

Vanessa: My names Vanessa. You seem pretty interesting from what I can tell...

Vaughn: What? Oh thanks?

Vanessa: We can talk later the bells gonna ring.

Vaughn: Oh, yeah alright.

Kevin walked over.

Kevin: Hiya!

Vanessa: stare ? Who're you...?

Vaughn: Pardon my friend. *To Kevin* shut up.

Vanesssa: It's cool. I'll see you later Vaughn...

Vaughn: How didja know my name?

Vanessa: It was on the news everyone must've seen it.

Vaughn: Thinks: Dammit! That Glorfax guy got me flushed down the toilet of society!

Vaughn: *Gulps* Well talk to ya later then?

Vanessa: Ok. *Walks*

Vaughn: . . . eek

Bell: Ring!

Kevin: *Drags* C'mon!
