True the vision's hazy...
I'm listening to the Wicked CD. For those of you who are sadly not enlightened, it is the soundtrack to a play about the wicked witch of the west. You know, the one from the Wizard of Oz. If you don't, there is no help for you now.

I have like a gazillion different CDs loaded onto my computer. Musicals, like Wicked, bands like Linkin Park and (though I didn't actually load it on there) The Posies (which are surprisingly good, in a non-screaming sort of way...), and the soundtracks (lyric-less) to three different movies. I have A LOT of instrumental music.

Don't you dare scoff at my instumentals! They help me write stories/posts/etc. Especially the LOTR one. There is a REASON that movie has won so many music awards. *whistles* That music is amazing...

I am fully aware that this entry has nothing to do with the title. Forgive me for that. To err is human. And I am very human. Though I wish I could sparkle...

Oh! I almost forgot. I learned something the other day, and seeing as I haven't been on in a week (please be generous with that forgiveness), I thouht I should share it.

Did you know that back in ancient Rome the people who built houses, to save money, would use wax. Well, that was fine if the house was built in winter. But when summer hit, the houses started to melt. Which was bad. And the house builders knew that was going to happen, but they just wanted to make money. Silly, greedy Romans... The Latin word for wax was something like "cere" and the word for without (the prefix) was "sine". So nowadays the word "sincere" means "without wax".

So there's your history lesson for the day.

100% Wax-Free,
Twilight
