Shadows Hymn of Rebirth's plot
In ancient times a ritual had taken place. When the ritual was completed, the world was covered in darkness. The sacrifice was a guardian, who was created by the magical essences of balance, giving the great evil the ultimate power. No could defy him any longer and he ruled with an iron fist. He was god and people had to obey him, or they will be destroyed. From than on, he was regraded as someone not to mess with and the times took a turn for the worst.
But not all was lost, four heroes arose, with special powers that could be used for sealing the dark entity away. They traveled to the top of Mt. Shadow, where the ritual had taken placed before, and where the dark entity had taken control. See the mountain had two properties to it. One was the ritual where the dark entity gained ultimate power, while the other half was used for the sealing ritual. They each took took a position on the symbol. They combined their powers and sealed the dark entity away. But in the process, they lost their lives, but the world was now at peace.
Now, centuries later, the seal is breaking. But the heroes have all been reincarnated, as well as the guardian. All their powers are the same as when they were first alive. Since the seal ins breaking again, the heroes must locate the guardian and protect him, since only with the guardian's help can they actually destroy the dark entity.
But as each day passes, the seal is weakens quickly. The dark entity uses his powers to summon hordes of minions to locate the guardian, so he could complete what he did in the past. Absolute power would be his again, because when he was sealed, he lost all the power. But as he recharges, he bides his time for another strike. He now rests in a massive castle, since the seal shattered and with the destroyed seal, his freedom. Although he was extremely weak and has to let others do his job. But he vowed he would make history repeat itself and destroy those pitiful heroes, before they could stop him.
The four heroes continue their quest, before finally locating the guardian. He was a lot younger than they expected, since the heroes are around the ages of 17-21. But that didn't stop them. They took in the guardian, protecting him, while they made their way to the top of Mt. Shadow. They traveled through the lands of Arivia, their destination in mind. But things stand in their way, mainly the dark entity's lackeys, who are always in the shadows waiting and watching. Looking for a the perfect opportunity to strike and claim what their master desires. This caused the heroes, to be extra caution in moving through the lands. They would not let the past repeat itself, since so many died. But can they do it, with all these challenges in their way and with the dark entity regaining his strength, as each day passes.
