"You like Satohoshi?" I asked, gaping at her.

"Uh-huh..." She shyly replied.

"But he's engaged... To me!" I retorted.


Today was February 1st , the day my younger sister, Kin was visiting for my wedding. She's only a year younger than me. Her plane lands at 10:30 tonight. She's a designer
for handbags from Paris. She's really smart and graduated from highschool when she was 16!

I was supposed to pick her up at the airport, but I decided to hang out with my old friends at the meantime.

I drove to Melody's house in my new convertible. As I drove up her driveway I saw some of our friend's cars parked there too. When stepped out of the car, I saw Melody with a karaoke microphone at her front porch. She saw me and winked. It was a signal.

I closed my ears.

-Screeeech- Wow. You could practically can hear this from miles away. Wait... isn't her name Melody?

"Uhhh.... hi." I said, hesitant. We haven't seen each other for 3 months!

Melody comes from a middle class family that owns a cute little karaoke store. We've been friends since the past 15 years. Yes, we've known each other since 6. In high school we'd end up liking the same person. well, the guy would like me first then go out with her. Melody really doesnt have a singing problem, but has some sort of singing syndrome.

"Charlotte!" She squeled and ran to me, along with her suffocating hug. "I missed you!"

"I-I... missed..Ahg! you too..." i managed to say in her death hug.

"Let's go! The guys are inside watching t.v.!" She joyfully clasped my hands with hers dragging me into her house in a skip.

I stepped inside her cozy house. So many memories, I thought, glancing at the furniture. Nothing has really changed.

My smiled disappeared when someone decided to hug me. He smelled like axe with his long hair hanging over my face. He buried his head into my hair. I turned to find
Satohoshi in a sinister smirk.

"Satohoshi.." I sneered with disgust and anger.

"Missed me... Honey?" He asked slyly. This was the guy I was going to be married off to. My friend's older brother.

I ignored him and walk through the picture filled hallway's to a nice living room. Beer cans all over the floor. Football on t.v. and Pizza on the table. I sighed. I really missed this.

"Char!" My friends called out from behind the sofa. I smiled sincerely in reply. I love them.

Christian suggested t play truth or dare. The others agreed, how childish. I somehow knew this was going wrong. Our first truth of dare game in 5 years.

We sat in a circle with a beer bottle in the middle.

Justin decided to spin it first. Oh, God it had to land on me!

Justin looked up at me in a smirk. I hid my face. It was Justin, the guy who makes everything worse!

"Ok.." He started" Truth or Dare?" I hated this question so much.

If I picked Dare... It would be something about Satohoshi. And Truth will give me a disaster!

I hate Satohoshi so much, "Truth." That I rather have disaster.

"Who's the lucky guy?" Justin plainly asked. Jokingly looking at his finger nails.

It was always that question. I couldn't say "Yuri" Satohoshi is here. And if I say Satohoshi, it's a lie.

"Tell the truth, Charlotte." Satohoshi told me.

"I-I'm interested in..." I closed my eyes. Help me...
