For about three hours my mom and dad stayed in that room. They went from looking at pictures to looking at wallpaper and then watching t.v. Night and me just sat there. We talked some,but for the most part it was silent between us. Finally he broke the silence. "Lets go." He said standing up. "What?" I stumbled getting up. "Where are we going?" I asked,but he was already out into the living room. "NIGHT!" I ran after him. What a pain he was always leaving me guessing. I ran out only to find Night frozen in place staring at something in front of him. "Nigh-" quicker than I could say his name he said Not to move so I stayed in place. "Whats wrong?" I was afraid it might be something bad and I started to get scared. What if it was that Man who tried hanging himself? What if he came for me? Night turned around and looked at me. I couldn't even tell what kind of emotion was on his face until he spoke. "Kain is on the couch naked, so I want you to go back in the room until I wake him up." I couldn't believe it! He made me scared for nothing? I walked over to him and and slapped him. I knew it wouldn't hurt,but at least it would give him the idea I was mad. I walked to the kitchen. It was a lot bigger and the tiles were new. Night walked into the kitchen. "What was that for?" He asked. He seemed upset like the slap actually hurt him. "You scared me for nothing!! I thought some evil spirit was about to attack you or something and come to find out its only Kain with no pants on!!!" I went further into the kitchen until I was right under the door to the attack. Night followed close behind me. He grabbed me by the waste and started to run back. "Put me Down!" I yelled. What was his problem? "Night! Night!! NIGHT!" I yelled more struggling to get out of his grip. He let me go and I noticed we were back in my old room. My parents weren't there and it seemed unusually vacant. "What the Hell?" I asked. "There are bad spirits in your attack, I don't want you anywhere near there." The t.v. was still on and I could hear Zod from Superman. "kneel before Zod" was the last thing I heard before Night turned it off and sat in the chair. "I just want you to be safe." I felt like crap for trying to struggle. "Sorry." I said looking down and feeling completely stupid and embarrassed. "Its okay you didn't know, I should have warned you." Suddenly I heard a knock on the door and some voices downstairs. "Well come in! Its been so long since we've heard from you." My mom said with extra cheer. Suddenly I heard a voice that I thought I would never hear again. "Thank You." It was my old friend Abby. I hadn't heard her voice since the 7th grade. She used to be my best friend ever. "You can go up to her room." My dad said,but he wasn't cheery he was sad. I looked at Night and he looked at me. "Whose that?" he asked. "My old friend Abby, she moved to Greece before we went into the 8th grade." I smiled at the memories that flowed through my mind. Abby came in and looked around. I wanted so badly to run over to her and hug her. I wanted to talk to her and say how much I missed her. She smiled directly at me. "Hi Aliyah."
