Hm.... Today All City was cancelled. I was kinda disappointed because it's a lot of fun. [As you can see, I'm a very talented singer [strike a pose]] It's a small chorus so we can enjoy ourselves more and it isn't so uptight. There's only twenty people. Now compare that to the eighty people of Treble Singers [The All City group for younger singers, fifth to sixth grade. Troubadours is for seventh and eighth graders]. Well either way, Troubadours is much better than Treble Singers. I'm sorry if that offends you, but live with it. It's the truth. Not because we're older but our songs our better and being small makes the small details more apparent. The dynamics, tone quality, etc. We don't need 'choralography'. But I still don't know why not so many people join. It goes from maybe thirty to forty down to just five to ten. Where did that 12-33% go? Maybe they think that there's no time, but I think it worth it. At least she gives you cookies. And not those cheap packaged kinds either. Ms. Holmes [the conducter] bakes them for us.

My point is Troubadours is a great chorus and I'll be sorry to leave it this year.
