Sierra's Relationships
Just an overview of the relationships my main character has with other people IC.

RELATIONSHIPS:
Vahn Fah: Her life-bonded, the father of her children, and the only man for her (well, almost.) While Sierra isn't as traditional as most of her people and has had other relationships, she also believes that when you become serious about someone, it's a life long decision, something taken very serious by the elves as they are pseudo immortal. She is completely devoted to him, although her love comes at a high price. The emotional strain of having to be patient and understanding when all she wants is to be held... She has a hard time understanding why he pushes her away. It hurts her deeply when he flirts or gets involved with other women. And while she has a hard time with it and it causes tension and awkwardness between them she always seems to find forgiveness. She wants to be there for him, if he'll let her. She hates seeing him struggle...
Sunstrike: At first they were both extremely awkward and no small bit jealous of one another. But eventually they realized how very similar they were, especially where their feelings towards Vahn were concerned. Together they halve the burden of Vahn's love and the inescapable heartache that accompanies it. Sierra brings out Sun's inner 'knight in shining armour'. In time, they ended up falling for each other... and the love triangle became more of a threesome. The balance of their relationship can be fragile at times, but everyday it grows a little stronger.
Ra'kar: When she was younger, Ra'kar was almost a comforting presence amidst all the loneliness, despite the fact that the demoness scared Sierra. Whenever Sierra was in over her head, Ra'kar would take the reigns, possessing her seeing her safely through the blackest of times. They were like 'sisters' who shared a mind and body... twin souls. But as the millennium passed by, Ra'kar became discontented with taking a back seat and being denied her primal desires. Their relationship was fractured as it turned to a power struggle between the two. Sierra feels responsible for not being strong enough to keep Ra'kar in line. When Sierra comes to after she's been possessed by her, she's often filled with feelings of self-loathing, disgust, contempt and rage at what Ra'kar has done with or to her body.
Vahl & Kelios: Her precious children and her most cherished treasures. Though there was some sadness in their making, they bring her great joy. It saddens her that they must be kept hidden from the world while others hunt them. She mourns the time she was away from them while she suffered amnesia, not knowing who she was let alone that she had children. She vows to make up for it, by never leaving them alone again. She would do ANYTHING for her children and woe betide those who try hurt her babies! In her son she sees herself, and in her daughter she sees Vahn. Vahl's blindness is a cause of sorrow to Sierra, but she loves her no less. She fights now to let her children live their lives freely without fear of being hunted. When they are older, she'll make sure her children receive training in the arts of combat and magick. Until then, she dotes on them cherishing her babies, knowing in her heart that all children grow up too fast.
Maximos: Maximos knows Sierra better as 'Teira'. He was the one who found her when her mind was badly broken. She had withdrawn from physical existence. Max stumbled across her and accidentally pulled her soul back into the real world. Placing the soul into a shadow body. Her mind having suffered too much trauma, shut itself down and so she was without any memories, thus Maximos named her Tei'raesia Kos (the mystery girl). For most of their friendship, Teira was in the mindset of a child, having to relearn everything... including speech. (Teira could be compared to Chi from Chobits or Nyu/Lucy from Elfen Lied). Maxi became like a big brother to Teira and she loves him very much! In the eyes of a 'little sister' her big brother can do anything and is totally the coolest person ever!
Walter & D: Also associated with the 'Teira' persona more so than 'Sierra'. Even though Walter is a 'servant' he is more like a father figure to her. He watches out for her, and subtly guides her. D... her playmate and partner in crime when residing on Shadow Island. Together they get up to no end of trouble. Teira loves flying with D and playing Hide and Go Seek Tag. As well as scaring Maximos!
Shin: Doesn't like him. There was a time, where her feelings toward him bordered on 'hate'. She partially blames Shin for his father's death, a grudge she has carried for over 700 years. She also dislikes how Shin sticks his nose into her business, clinging to her and following her like a lost puppy. When they were in their 'youth' they fought alongside each other, traveling as mercenaries. At that time she thought of him as a friend and companion... although she won't admit it now.
Chibbit & Fay Lynn: Half sisters, Lynn and Chibbit are twins. Sierra is the 'black sheep cat' of the family. They look up to Sierra who is the eldest. Sierra often plays the role of defender/protector while pushing the girls to be stronger and stand up for themselves. She loves them very much and together they have fun getting up to all kinds of adventures and goofy trouble. The three of them together usually means some kind of mischief is in the works.
Juuni: Juuni is her adopted 'cat girl'. An orphaned neko-jin, Juuni is like a little sister to Sierra. She dotes on her and spoils her rotten while taking care of her, often treating her with cookies.
Asai: Asai is sort of like one of Sierra's 'Birthrights'. By being the born as the reincarnation of the elven Avatar of Fire and Darkness, she has the ability to Summon her Guardian: Asai. While in Endar'ah, Asai rarely took human form, and Sierra would lead raids from her back. Here in Gaia however, her dragon rarely leaves her 'human' form. Sierra visits Asai often, in the heart-caverns of the Pandtyl Tali (dragon caves) on her guild estate. Currently, this is where her children are being hidden away from their enemies. Sierra has charged Asai with being their Guardian.
Victor: Nobody dares mention Victor's name in front of Sierra. When he kidnapped her, and she refused to aide him in his plans, he threatened her unborn (the twin's) lives to subdue her. He placed a seal on her to bind Ra'kar as the dominant persona. At one point he also beat and raped her, just to strike at Vahn when he found her. The rape 'caused complications with the Twin's birth and is the cause of Vahl's blindness. Sierra would kill him if she has the chance.
Kia'nthel: Her childhood sweetheart and her only friend growing up. They were betrothed when she was only a baby. They played together in the royal gardens and told each other all their secrets. At royal balls, they would dance together to please their parents and then run off to sit under the ancient oak tree with a plate of pastries and candied fruit. They would take naps on the soft moss under the oak, Kia'nthel being a pillow for Sierra. When they were older, Kia'nthel confessed his love to her and gave her, her first kiss. However she realized she didn't truly 'love' him. She swore her sword to him instead of her body, becoming the Champion of Flame. She was also the one who secretly taught him how to fight with a sword. She cherishes two things he gave her, her Sword: Elven-Fire and a necklace. It's a royal heirloom known as the 'Heart of Althaer'. It's a heart shaped locket with elven designs tooled on the front.
