Cid closed his eyes and began to chant under his breath. The dragons became enraged and charged at him. He sped up his chanting as they got closer. As the dragons got directly in front of him he jumped and tapped both of them on their heads. They quickly calmed down and stared at Cid. "Heh it still works..." Cid began to follow the trail Gale had made. As he walked along the dragons began to follow him. Gale had gone through another tunnel and Cid could see him at the end of it. "Gale! These things can be charmed!" Gale didn't reply. As Cid got closer he saw a light glowing in the direction Gale was facing. As Cid got to the end of the tunnel he saw what Gale was so hypnotized by. "Gale... is that....." Gale nodded. Koujin and Zane were close by but they had turned away. "I was told.... that she died fighting... but...." Cid sighed. "My dad... said she had died fighting... but instead... she is here...." Cid looked down at a woman. She was incased in crystal and nearby her was a large amount of metal. "Hey kid... what is that...?" "It.. its the metal I use to make my weapons.... I guess.. it comes from life forces... That must be why it is so strong..." Gale's gaze never left the woman in the crystal. "Why did he lie..." "I think he just didn't want us to waste our time trying to free her... Or getting killed by the things guarding her." Zane now stood next to Gale, his gaze fixed on the woman. Koujin was still turned away. "Where is dad..." "We were told he was dead... But something makes me doubt that...." Zane nodded. "I think... he must be down here somewhere..." Cid looked around. "Theres another tunnel over there...." Cid pointed to a far corner of the room. Gale sighed and turned away from the woman and walked towards the tunnel. The three brothers sighed and spoke at once all under their breath. "By... mom.." They all moved toward the tunnel and the dragons followed.
