Yesterday, around about 4 pm

WAY too much was going on. I had to pack my bags, clean up the house, help my little sister with her costume AND work on my own, my stomach was hurting for no dang reason, my cousin wanted me to pick him up from the other side of the next town over, and I couldn't find anything anywhere in the stupid mall. Peachy day.

And there I was, stopped at the red light, after being cut off from the right-hand turn lane that would have gotten me to the local craft store. Of course, the light I needed had just turned red, so on a big road like that I'd have to wait through three other lights before it was green again. So I'm sitting there tapping my fingers on the steering wheel and impatiently (could you tell?) waiting on the light when I happened to look up. Know what I saw?

It was one of those partly-cloudy days. You know the kind--look to one side and see a mostly-clear blue sky, look in the opposite direction and there's some big, ominous storm cloud leering down at the unsuspecting citizens of Townsville, or wherever you happen to be at the time. So the sky in front of me happened to be the mostly-clear blue sky. To my left and right there were perfectly-formed puffy white clouds, and right smack in the middle, so clear that someone without an imagination could see it, is a Chinese Dragon caricature, sporting the biggest cheesy grin I've ever seen. I wish I'd had a camera. But even if I had, I was too busy laughing at the silly thing to get a picture.

My mom and I both thought that God knew I needed cheering up, and because it was me, it had to be a dragon. ^-^ He's awesome.
