Here's the gist of what happened::
I got sick
I sat for 2 hours at the MVA
I got my Driving permit
And, I scared the crap out of my mom driving home.
I hate the MVA... so many people just.. staring at you when you walk in >o<. I did learn something, though. All those comedians were wrong, I didn't see a single foreigner working there! At any rate, when I got there, I stood around for a few minutes, then I went and got my vision checked. After that, they sent me into this little room with a bunch of computers in it, and I took the test for my permit. I got 1 question wrong out of 20. biggrin
Then.. they told me to go sit out in the lobby and wait for my number to get called to pay, so I waited... for 2 freaking hours. =_=. Then I finally got to go up and pay and crap...
When I got up there, the lady asked me a bunch of questions (birthdate, address, ect..), and I realized that my permit would expire on 8/8/08 XD.
Yeah, I was happy to get out of there..
When we left, my mom drove me to my school's parking lot and taught me how to drive & crap, which I picked up pretty fast. Then she let me drive home.. twisted
I got us home safely, then I got to go drive around the parking lot of this park in my neighborhood.. My mom felt I had gotten the hang of it enough, and we needed to go out to the supermarket for a few things anyway, so she let me drive..
...
That's where the problems were. I decided to cut through a neighborhood to avoid rush hour traffic. That neighborhood.. sweatdrop People like to park on the sides of the road alot there, and I wasnt used to sitting on the left side of the car yet, so I nearly hit a few parked cars with the passenger side of my car. XD
My mom kinda.. got a lil bit freaked.. but I calmed her down, and we got home okay. :3
