Sicky Wolfy Sigh... yesterday I contracted a fever and since there was a recent outbreak of dengue my parents were worried that I got it too. Although I didn't think I had dengue I was definitely tired and uncomfortable. Being sick is really the pits.

A disease spread through the aedes mosquitoes, mostly common in the tropics its symptoms are fever, red spots, muscle pain, nausea and vomiting. Varying with the severity of the condition.

Because the disease is spread through the blood the blood the most common treatment for a sever case would be a platelet transfusion. It is important to avoid such medicines as aspirin which appease fever and headaches because they aggravate the illness.
