~~~Episode Twenty~~~
"You three shouldn't be wandering this area at night, its dangerous." Hiroko said as she led them into the building. Haku nodded, "We really didn't have much of a choice."
Hiroko shut the doors behind them, and they watched as the door was bolted shut as well. Hiroko turned,
"I can tell your not vampires. But what were you doing out there anyway?"
Haku again spoke up,
"We new to this area, and were kind of wandering around..."
"In other words, you have no idea where you are." Hiroko interjected. Yuri smiled and nodded,
"Yep!" she said. Haku glanced at her, but didn't say anything as he turned his attention back to Hiroko as she spoke.
"Everyone else is asleep, but I'll see if any of the assistances are awake. Please, stay here."
with that, Hiroko left them, running down the large hall towards a double flight of stairs. Zeph looked around at the dark area,
"Wow...this place is huge. I wonder how many people are here."
"Reminds me of a private school." Yuri observed as she saw a case of trophies farther down the entrace hall. Haku turned to them.
"We need to watch it guys. I haven't seen any heartless yet...but I know they're here."
Footsteps were heard, and they turned as Hiroko came back, an older man following behind her. He had short, messy blonde hair with blue eyes, and his clothes were almost the same as Haku and Zephs. He came up to them, looking over them with a quick glance.
"Hiroko said you three were wandering the grounds..." he said. Yuri nodded a little, and the man smiled.
"My name is Kazuki. I'm one of the assistants here at the school. I'm curious about you three, but your obviously tired. I'll get you some rooms that you can use for tonight, and we'll talk more tomorrow."
Kazuki turned to Hiroko,
"Head to bed Hiroko, you have a big lesson tomorrow. I'll take care of our guests."
Hiroko nodded obediently, waving a little before leaving. Kazuki turned his attention back to them,
"Alright, follow me." he said.
Sunlight flooded in through the now open curtains, warming the room. Yuri woke up and sat up, rubbing her eyes as she yawned. She blinked, taking a moment to remember where she was.
"Oh yeah...we're in this vampire slayer school." she said as she got up out of bed. She saw a fresh set of clothes sitting on the chair and smiled.
"Cool, I could get used to this place." she said.
Haku stood in the entrance hall with Zeph. He turned as Yuri came up,
"About time! Did you get lost in a hall or something?"
he asked. Yuri smiled,
"No, but I probably can."
Haku shook his head, "Wheres that Kazuki guy? I thought he told us to come here?"
"Hes probably still sleeping." Zeph said.
"Nope, but your close kid."
They turned to see Kazuki walk up. He smiled,
"Just grabbing a bit of breakfast from the kitchen. So, are you three new students?" he asked.
Haku nodded, "Sort of. We came to...to participate and help out." he said. Yuri smiled a little, and Kazuki crossed his arms.
"Good. We could use a little help. Right now, the girls are all out on the training grounds with Akina."
"Girls? Aren't there guys here?" Zeph asked. Kazuki looked at him,
"Yes, theres me, Jiro, and Renjiro, who is the leader. And now theres you and Haku."
he walked forward, passing them.
"Come on, I'll give you a tour of the school, then you can see the training grounds and the girls."
Hiroko slashed forward with her katana, cutting the air as she practiced. Her friends were nearby, and a sudden blast of wind made Hiroko almost fall over. She turned quickly to see Yumi smile.
"Weren't expecting that I bet." Yumi said, her blue eyes sparkling as her blonde hair billowed around her for a moment.
"Hey, we aren't supposed to be scuffling yet." Hiroko reminded Yumi as she sheathed her katana. Yumi sighed,
"Oh, wheres the fun in that? I say we all join in a play battle." she said and turned,
"What do you say Sakura, Kiyoshi, Yoshi?" she asked the other girls.
Sakura shrugged, "Fine with me." she said, her blue eyes turning to Yumi. Her blonde hair was probably longer than Yumi's, but it was held back in a ponytail. Kiyoshi grinned, "As long as we dont get in trouble." she said, tucking a strand of golden blonde hair behind her ear, her brown eyes turning to the other girls. Yoshi shook her head a little, making her short gray hair sway. She closed her blue eyes,
"We will get in trouble. Akina specifically told us to practice by ourselves until she returned."
From farther away, Kazuki was walking onto the grassy field, Haku, Zeph, and Yuri following. Kazuki squinted his eyes faintly as he looked ahead,
"Hmmm...I wonder what those girls are doing."
"Looks like their doing what all girls do; gossiping." Zeph said.
"No, they look like they're about to fight." Haku interjected.
"Fight? I highly doubt-" Zeph was interupted as Sakura leapt forward, throwing needles at the other girls. The others leapt back out of the way, Kiyoshi thrusting her hands forward and sending a blast of water at Sakura.
Kazuki shook his head,
"A scuffle? But I dont see Akina anywhere..." he sighed, "The girls are so energetic." he said. Yuri smiled,
"That looks like fun." she said as Yumi sent Sakura and Kiyoshi tumbling back with a large gust of wind.
"Yeah, it does look fun." Haku said, his hand reaching for his own katan as Hiroko slashed at Yumi.
Suddenly, a gun shot echoed loudly across the grounds, and the girls instantly stopped their fighting as a woman came into view. Zeph blinked,
"Whos that?" he asked, stunned from the gunshot. Kazuki smiled,
"Thats Akina. She trains the girls." he said.
"Akina? Well, it looks like shes not to happy." Yuri said, watching as the woman walked towards the group of girls.
"Come on, lets go introduce you to Akina." Kazuki said, walking forward.
