Today, 311 is playing right across from the high-rise that I live in. They are in Memphis today playing at the Mud Island Amphitheater. Now over the past few years, 311 have played in Memphis quite a few times. But, I never got to see them. I was still living at home, had no job, nor car.
Now I have a job, money, and I can walk over to Mud Island. But, that job that got me the money is making me work 6 to close tonight. All this week and last week, I have been working open to 6. Now I have a rare 6 to close and it's preventing from seeing this show.
I could go, but that would mean major consequences, and nothing right now is worth that.
So I say, have fun to everyone who is off tonight. I know I would be.
