Anyone here feel that summer is beginning to lose its touch? Maybe it's just because everyone is sad that they are moving on to High School. Or maybe, it's because High School is full of new challenges, and people are beginning to study.
Anyways, so far, summer's been pretty boring for me. I went rafting which was fun. Left home on July 3rd, along with 3 other families, for Sacramento. Near Sacramento, we camped for the night. At about 6 in the morning, we woke up and packed up the camp. At 7, we then had to drive from the camp place to the rafting area. A whopping one hour drive! But it was worth it. Rafting was full of fun. I just love jumping in the river water. The current is extremely strong and it's cold. Numbs my body, which feels good. biggrin Anyways, at the end, the guide (person who sits at the back and tells us which way to paddle; she was very nice) taught me how to jay-stick (which is basically front paddling, but giving the paddle a kick at the end to prevent the boat from turning). It was lots of fun. Maybe I'll work their in the summer sometime.
So that's pretty much the most eventful experience. Well, I still have bunches of ways to spend my summer. I have to order a trumpet and start practicing ASAP. Also have to get a total score of 2200 or higher on the SAT. So that'll keep me busy. But seeing as I want even more to do (since that's the way I roll), I guess I have to get back into Basketball before the season starts, as well as Tennis. And I'm planning to work out at YMCA every weekday (with mainly Vi and Kevin Zhang).
Sounds fun eh? Well, I guess I'm fully utilizing this here journal. Yay! mrgreen
Oh yeah! Also have to start swimming majorly! Must get back into swimming for Water Polo season. Good thing there are no cuts. I'm pretty sure that there's a lot more that I could work on. Maybe form a get together. I'll plan something like that... Sometime.
