So the Southaven UFO meting went really well. An old friend from MUFON (Mutual UFO network) came by and we're all going to be going in to investigate and see if there is any evidence left. It supposedly happened in 1992 so there may not be anything at all.

One of the lead investigators back in that day was John Ford. He started poking around in county dumps for wreckage. Well there was one politician who was dumping things into the dumps that he was not supposed to and when he heard Ford was sneaking around he thought it was to catch him doing something illegal and expose him. I think this is why John Ford was arrested.

They claim he tried to poison three politicians by putting some radioactuve material in heir toothpaste. The supposed "radioactive material" was a little piece used to calibrate geiger counters. It would not have fit inside toothpaste and it would not have any effect unless you were exposed continuously over 20 years.

They scared John Ford into thinking he would lose his pension unless he took an insanity plea and spend 60 days in a psych ward. So there was no trial and he took that option. The sad thing is he is still in Mid Hudson to this day with no hope of release. He thinks he is in there for his belief in UFO's but I think there was something a lot more political at work. Anyway we are trying to pick up the torch and see what we can find out now that there is really no current Long Island ufo investigators corrently working.
