Ok, so i had my first swim meet today, and well...i didnt do all that great at first...
My events were 12, doing freestyle, 36, doing backstroke, and 40, doing the free relay. Well, lets just say, i missed event 12!! i was so mad! I couldnt believe i missed it! Then i had to wait forever until event 36, because they have events but sometimes several heats in each event, which makes the meet drag out forever!! Then i did event 36 doing backstroke, which is my least favorite stroke, and my slowest too, and i was dying out there...but surprisingly, i came in third place!! i was so happy!! Then almost right after, i had to do event 40, the last event in the meet, which was the free relay. Boy was i tired already, but my team pulled out to second place!! I was so happy, because i didnt do all that bad for my first swim team meet this year. Thats all i have to say for now!!


P.S. I found out yesterday that my grandpa has bone cancer!!! crying crying Im sad and scared because no one in my family has ever survived cancer!! crying My old dog died of cancer, my grandma died of cancer, and my other grandpa died of bone cancer too!!!! crying cry cry I dont know what to do, but im scared!!
