Before getting a ferret you must always remember to ferret-proof your home, so that your fuzzy friends don't accidently destroy furniture ("Tear Down FURNITURE!?! Yeah Right!!" you may think, but they have been known to destroy unprotected cabinets and couches) and so that you don't accidently destroy them!! NO RECLINERS!!! Ferrets love to sneak under recliners, and, when you sit down and lay back- they get uh... you get the point. Talk to a ferrte expert or look at a ferret care book to fully safitize your home.
