So, as I've attempted to explain to many of you...I'm a sea cadet of the corps 29 Churchill. And I love my corps. This was our fifty first anniversary. Just like every year at the end of the training we had a big inspection...where a whole bunch of old guys that have been in the program for...decades...came to see what we're all about.
For the most part, we did okay. Okay, I kid...we did flippin amazing.

...Okay, so sure...I don't know if any of you know what Jacks Day is...(It's part of the demonstrations where we hook up lines to two volly ball post and use them to transport a crate of rocks across a gym...the two sides of the gym representing two different ships.) I was part of this. I had to climb to the top of one of the posts...and got my knee hurt in the process...now there is like...a giant bump on my knee...>_>

Than...Of course...I was in first aid. Me being the only person in the group to complete first aid...and the most recent...and having completed it twice...I was in charge. So...I had to put a splint on this girls leg. She didn't sound convincing with her crying...but meh. The commanding officer of Avalon (top dude there that night) walked over to me and asked how I knew it was only her leg that was injured...I told him I had performed a secondary survey...and he was totally blown away. It was funny to see his face...(he was shocked) I'm totally hating my teacher right now for telling me after (at school) that she wasn't impressed. B*tard.

And than...the worst...most terrifying...most anticipated part of the night...(for me and three other people anyway)....the band display. I started us of by playing smoke on the water in low notes...So...I started the whole display...even when I was hitting the keys I was afraid I'd screw up...but guess what...I didn't! The only part of the night when I missed a single note was at the end when the commanding officer left...and I almost collapsed playing O Canada. I let the other glock back me up. And than started playing.

At the awards ceremony I was given a service medal for four years of being a sea cadet. This was given out to many people...so I don't feel that special. But, it is a medal I get to wear on my uniform.
