Omph is still alive, I know it.
Many have said this to be aimless hope and misplaced effort, but I'm almost positive there is merit in it all.
I mean to say...There is a lot of evidence suggesting the worst case scenario. But I've found, that regardless of situation, hope and perseverance prevail.
Let us weigh options.

(though to counter, Narf was out of his ship for extended periods of time, and the only visible side effect was an apparent loss of the ability to keep track of passing time properly [evident from passing out watermeat LONG after Christmas])Pro:-&Omph's ship had been recovered, but without sign of Omph. - (
possible means of escape. The likeliness of Omph being thrown far enough from his ship to be lost this long, and from the zurg scanners is highly unlikely.)

During a conversation with
Sorn he told me that after Omph's ship had been shot by Flarn, having sacrificed himself to protect Sorn, there was no body to be found. But the interesting thing was, that Sorn had told me, that if Omph still really was alive, he'd have gone to the place where they had both previously hidden before.
The Barton Trench.Call it madness, or intuition, but I still can't help but feel that Omph is out there.
Maybe he found help from a stranger (
who DOES live in that hut?), or maybe from his training (
he used to be a hunter &3) he was able to withstand the toxicity in the air.
In any case, I keep my hopes high, and keep my ear to the gorund.
one day we'll find Omph.
