Town Hacks
Hackers hijacking people's speech bubbles and speaking for them in towns/MTV Hills/VJ, anything with the same setup. No fix.
Freezing Pictures
People have received enormously large pictures via PM which freeze their computer, thus preventing them from reporting the PM. Solution is to simply PM the username to a mod.
MP Botted Cash Items
MP has some hackers that cracked the gaia cash shop and are selling botted cash shop items. Moderators know this and are investigating and banning them.
Trollers and Pictures
Massive amounts of trollers in some forums and some pm'ing. They are bots that sends pictures of grotesque and vulgar images and the files are so large that will overload you computer and cause it to crash. Moderators and Administrators know this and are trying to do everything in their power to stop it.

The bottom line of this is this: report that offensive post or thread, and the mods should be able to spot it faster and get to it sooner starting next week.

This stopped a lot of the scams for a while... but then they picked up again, when the scammers started saying things like, "I AM AN OFICIAL ADMIN TYPE YOUR PASWORD WITH SPACES BETWEEN THE LETTERS" and such, and people were complying. This is why we're hesitant to implement two-factor authentication -- basically, even if have some other method of verification (i.e., secret question), we're afraid that people will still send them to scammers.
That said, we are discussing this problem a lot -- the more reports we can prevent from getting into the hacking queue, the better.
Marketplace Changes
Marketplace changes should go live today or tomorrow -- you'll no longer be able to cancel your auction after five minutes. "Buy only" auctions will not be affected. We're hoping that this brings about a healthier auction market with more bidding, but we'll see -- and, like many things, we'll watch it and continue to tweak it as necessary.
