I never realized just how many age old notes I have-- and I'm pretty sure I haven't even found all of them yet. I think I still have at least one or two folders of notes still not added to the file chest... ugh...
I found notes from storylines in dreams I had, story notes from a story I started on a camping trip with Brieka and her family from WAY back, notes on fanfictions that I cringe to think I actually attempted to write those stories. :: cough :: MARY SUES :: cough ::
Fortunately, I HAVE managed to find my detailed outline for Arches and Gates as well as my map and some notes for my original piece involving Koslimorsa, which only my mom, John and Brieka have ever heard/read anything about. I'm honestly thinking of trying to start it back up again, but it's definitely going to go through a revamp. I have too many stray ideas/notes that could be drawn together into the same story easily, plus the story as it was just won't cut it anymore. My style has changed too much since then. Plus I have more of an appreciation for the art of subtle writing than I used to. All in all, I think the reorganization of my file chest was productive and profitable. And if something actually comes of it (in relation to writing and Koslimorsa) then I meet end up keeping this writing log up a little more than usual. If that is so, anyone who actually chooses to read it should feel free to comment and question me about what I put in it. You never know-- it might end up helping me.
I also found an interesting story that I didn't even remember coming up with. I think it was actually supposed to be an rpg originally. Hmm... that's a thought...
