My freshman year was amazing know that i think about it. I met new people and became great friends with them. All the teachers i disliked in the beginning of the year became one of my favorite. I have to admit, when i first walked into La Serna i wanted to run and hide in Whittier High. Im so happy my dad made me stay. The band director Mr. Stott is absolutely the weirdest and funnest teacher ever!! He taught me so much! including making me call commands to the whole band, having a ten minute rehearsal with them, and getting interviewed! I became friends with so many and kept so many old friends!! and i wont forget the incoming new friends.

as an overview. I learned a lot this year. Not only musically and education wise, but morals and maturity. If i look back at my 8th grade year i can pick apart all my mistakes educationally and self decisions. Ive grown up a bit. Sadly though, everyone says sophomore year is the worst year because your right in the middle of everything. You have your sophomore speech. and a whole bunch of other things. Everyone hates sophomores because they think since they are no longer freshman they are the s**t. truth is they are not. I know how much power i have now that i am a sophomore and i dont tend to extend my privileges making myself the center of hatred like a lot of sophomores this year did. Well yeah bye!
