I was just walking home from the grocery store- broad daylight, mind you- when out of the sky, strange objects came hurtling towards earth. Towards me! I couldn't move for fear. The objects crashed into the ground a few hundred yards from me. I don't know why, but I was drawn toward the wreckage. I crept closer to the craters. Through the smoke, I saw movement. It seemed as though the objects were opening. Then I saw them. The aliens, three of them. They rushed me. I tried to run, but they were too fast.
"No! No! NOOOOO-AAAAAAH!" I screamed as they grabbed me. Two tall, gray, scaly beings held my arms and legs as a third attached these metal disks to my ears. I felt something sliding into my ear canals. Oh my God, the pain! My brain was on fire! My head was splitting in two! I couldn't breath, I felt-
Through the disks, I receive my instructions from a base satellite. The Granitines have amassed a significant number of bodies. It is finally time for the Granitines' newest foot-soldiers to move out. Time to invade the earth.

I've been told by several people that I look like a male passing as female.
But I actually am female and I was sort-of-in-a-round-about-not-really-trying-but-kind-of-hinting-kind-of-way attempting a more masculine appearance. What's your impression?

I have come up with a list of things people do that bother me. It is as follows:
- People who defend an argument instead of explain it.
- People who don't know what their argument is in the first place, yet continue to defend it.
- Controlling and possessive boyfriends/girlfriends.
- Girls or boys who say "Oh, I can't hang out with my friends because my boyfriend/girlfriend doesn't like that."
- People who ride my a** on the freeway for five miles, only to change lanes, speed up, and cut me off.
- Old people who think the world revolves around them because they are old.
- Young people who think the world revolves around them because they're "smarter than everyone else."
- People who think the world revolves around them because they're black/white/Asian/Russian/etc...
- Potheads, alcoholics, druggies in general. (I honestly don't care if you do drugs, but most of these people are paranoid and irritating and refuse to leave me the ******** alone.)
- People who give money to help the AIDS problem in Africa just so they can say "Look at me! I helped underprivileged people! Bask in my glorious selflessness!" Right. Because the people you just "helped" aren't going to up and die from starvation a month from now.
- People who are vegetarians because cows are "too cute" to eat.
Things people do that give me hope for the future of humanity:
- People who thank workers (waiters, lifeguards, maintenance crew, etc.) for doing a good job.
- People who help strangers with heavy objects when they don't seem to be faring very well.
- People who can hear an argument and say, "Well, that sounds reasonable, but what about..."
- People who don't sit and whine about the political problems of our day, but get out and try to change what's going wrong.

Ok, I am no Bush fan, but everyone here really hates him. Comparing him to Hitler and all. As if the guy has something against the rest of humanity.
He's human. He makes mistakes. He isn't bright, but he's quick. He is a pretty good leader, to get 51% of Amrican voters to follow him. You all are just mad that an idiot like him is in the White House and he's got us in a huge hole. Sure, he's nearly started World War Three, but that doesn't mean he's a bad person. I think he truely believes it's about terrorism. Now, if you want answers, you don't go to the man in the monkey suit. You go to his trainers.
And, honestly, if you all really want something changed, sitting here whining about it on the internet isn't going to do anything. Go out and participate in your government. Do something helpful for once. Otherwise, what makes you any better than Bush?

I understand that it is against religious views to be gay, but it's also against religious views to eat pork.
I'd like to view this as objectivly as possible, but that's difficult because this is a subject that discusses the infringement of other people's rights and liberties. A gay couple should have the same rights as a straight couple because if the one person you loved most in the world, the person you chose as your lifelong companion is on their deathbed, you'd want to see them too, right? Well, that's a right that would be taken away.
Marrige is a union between two people who love, care for, and respect each other, not between two people that can have kids. How many straight couples are there that don't have kids, or even don't want them?
And not letting gay couples adopt? That's ludicrous. Basically, what you're saying, is that you'd rather have another ******** up kid that thinks no one loves them out on the street than a happy child in a family that loves them. Good job.
I am personally all for population control. As gays can't have kids without technological interference, there's no reason why a couple shouldn't be happy together.
