In my english class we had to make up a poem about a fictional story of the moon leading children to it and taking them as it children forever in turn taking them away from their parents. I acctually sung it for extra credit so its more song like them poem.
'Moon calling'
Dream for the moon,
Dream for the moon,
All it wishes,
All it wishes,
Is for you to come to it.
Come my children,
Of the moon,
All will come to you,
I shall love you as my own,
You shall never be alone.
Never be scared of the night,
I know it has never done you right,
I will be there for you,
Calling softly to the moon.
