Just a heads up, no matter what I do I'll ramble. But most likely, this journal will house OCs (that no one will ever steal ever). Using ilafatyu's profile skeleton because we're buddies. Thanks! :D
Wyeth Temple - Pirate Gigue's OC

Name: Wyeth "Temple"
Age: Sixteen
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Occupation:

Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 113 lbs.
Build: Slim with narrow shoulders. Very little muscle or fat.
Skintone: Fair, rather pale. He sees more fluorescent lighting than he does sun, what do you want?
Markings: None, he's a coddled little boy.

Hair color: Light golden brown, somewhat reminiscent of bronze.
Texture: A little coarse, naturally tends to be messy.
Length: At cheekbone level in the front, no lower than the chin. His bangs also hang at the edges of his vision because he really can't stand it when they get in his way.
Style: Intentionally tousled even more. Apparently, it's not messy enough for him.

Face: Slightly angular chin, high cheekbones. Slender nose, wide, expressive eyes, softly angled cheeks.
Expressions: His expressions aren't half as powerful as his actual emotions. If he's happy, he smirks, if he thinks something is hysterical, he barely laughs... What can you expect out of a teenager whose job it is to manipulate people?
Eye color: Grey-blue eyes with a barely noticeable darker ring of blue at the edges of his irises.

General clothing style: Indigo tried to instill an appreciation for a professional appearance in Wyeth. It failed miserably. He wants to look cool, not be presentable or any stupid junk like that. That means no spring colors and no pastels, got it? And... He's kind of picky about fabrics. If it's itchy or uncomfortable at all, he's done with it.
Shirts/tops: Short-sleeve or half-sleeve shirts are the best for him and he usually likes them with a design. It's being a little loose fitting that's key in his book.
Pants/bottoms: Pants are all there is for Wyeth. Dark, stonewash jeans are his personal favorite.
Shoes: Sneakers all the way. Just a good old standby, some basic low top converse. The laces are more gray than white now, but that's more from light damage than actual dirt. Such a sheltered kid...
Other: Buttons, buckles, and zippers, you name it, he'd take a jacket with them on it. Or even a vest, he's not that picky. At the moment, he's got a brown, zippered quilted vest with snap-button pockets.

Habits: Takes up more space than he needs to, hides his hands in his pockets when he's nervous, competes with others to see who has the best shoes, reaction time, you name it...
Mannerisms: Dislikes being touched, pretends to know what he's talking about, denies things that are true but he doesn't like very much

Personality: You know how teenagers have a reputation for believing they know what they're doing when they really don't? Take that and amplify it. Many, many times. And there you have Wyeth in all of his glory, thinking that he's got everything under control - and he wouldn't recognize most household pets on sight. But he talks a big game and he wouldn't want anyone to think for a second that he's any less informed than the rest of you. In fact, he almost always acts like he's in control and in charge, even if he's asking you for help.

All in all, this boy is difficult to separate from his pride. Few people get any sort of respect from him and those who do only have it indirectly. When he actually does what someone says he should, even after a scoff, that's how you know he admires someone. Because, whether he likes it or not, Wyeth is predictable. Right down to that fearless image he wants so much.

Ironically, it's that which makes him rather easy to manipulate. Especially since pushing the limits is what he lives for and he does so whenever he gets the chance. He is fully aware that someone will have to accept the consequences for his actions when he inevitably goes too far, but he keeps going anyway. If he were to back down, he'd see it as retreating. And only someone with his hard-earned admiration would even have a chance of convincing him to do that.

Likes: Reading, anything new, pushing his luck
Dislikes: Bad weather, strong flavors, elevators
Fears: Becoming brain dead

Biography: Born from a test tube and raised in a communal day care with other so-called "clones" like himself, he lived his first three years not really knowing anyone older than him. Adults cared for him on occasion, sure, but it's not like they ever spoke to him. Not until he was three years old, anyway. His daily routine was completely thrown off when some of those previously silent adults came and led him away from the daycare area. He was all excitement on the outside, though he knew better than to stray with so many adults around. But at the back of his mind was a nervousness he couldn't shove aside.

And when they pushed him into a sparse room where he was alone with a man in suit, that nervousness became outright aggression. Addressing the last adult there, Wyeth told the stranger that if he did anything to him, he would melt his brains like butter. And that was how he introduced himself to Indigo, his future mentor in manipulation. Even after the explanation of why he was there, Wyeth didn't seem to listen to Indigo at all. His lessons in using his power began immediately, meeting disaster almost as quickly. He started with manipulating small animals, such as mice, but with every advancement came a setback.

At the beginning, he'd turn the mice on each other and realize that he felt their pain. And it was that pain that distracted him from making them stop. When he was six years old, he got to try his power out on other clones and took on one too many. And so his power deflected back at him, making him temporarily comatose. Once Indigo got him out of the mess, he'd be right back on his feet and trying again as if nothing happened, a habit Wyeth wouldn't lose as he grew up.

They went on missions together for Leader when he was seven and sometimes he got in the way more than helped, getting in heaps of trouble later for his recklessness. What else could his overestimation of his skills be called? Years of this and more training changed nothing, and by the time he was nine, he was an infamous menace and almost uncontrollable by anyone other than Indigo. If anything's different since then, it's only that Wyeth has gotten worse. He doesn't want to be in the facility, he doesn't want to do missions, he wants to sneak out and see concerts and eat fried dough and go to arcades. Whatever those are. Anyway, he's even less obedient than before and is on the verge of having it come full circle, hitting him in the face like a bag of bricks.

Abilites:
Manipulation - His given ability allows him to control peoples' bodies through mind control, but of course there are limitations that go with that. Whether he's manipulated one person or four, his willpower has to outmatch their collective willpower. Yeah, any weak spirited people are easy targets. But it's better if the person is sleeping, in a coma, or recently dead. No mind, no willpower, no problem.

Weaknesses:
Overload - What happens if the person he's manipulating has greater willpower than he does? Think of it like a small guy trying to tackle a bigger guy. He'd just bounce off and probably end up hurting himself. Similarly, Wyeth's attempt at manipulation will reflect back at him and he make himself into a temporary vegetable. The only way out is to be knocked out or have an experiment with the same power reset his mind by manipulating him and then letting him take over. Needless to say, both are really unpleasant and he avoids this at all costs.

Song: Poor Unfortunate Souls (Cover)
Voice: Sometimes dramatizes his inflection, but speaks crisply. His voice doesn't seem fully developed yet and it's very slightly high for a guy. Still. Or at least that's what he wants to believe.
Handwriting: Somewhat scrawly with an upward slant.
Orientation: Straight

Relations:
Tobias Rivers - He's the only person besides Indigo to actually have Wyeth consider them a friend. Tobias is someone to compete with, which is what they spend most of their time doing... Showing each other up as best they can whenever they can. Even if Tobias wins regularly, Wyeth likes having him around to talk to. A normal human being isn't common in this place and he can't say how much he appreciates having Tobias around to be someone even close to normal. Wyeth slightly reveres him because he knows so much more about the outside world than his encyclopedias could ever show him.

Indigo Temple - The man who works as second in command to Leader and, if you hadn't figured it out from the last name, he's a bit of a father figure to Wyeth. He mouths off to him sometimes, just like he does with everyone else, but it's mostly for show. Granted, he doesn't always listen to Indigo and usually goes running to him when he gets into things that he can't handle... But for the most part, there is no one in his world that he respects more than Indigo Temple.

Yua Maki - Ho hum. Yeah, she's not totally insane or moping about how horrible her life is. So what? Yua is as dull as they come. Sweet to the point of nausea, he can't find any use for her other than fixing people up. Honestly, her company puts strain on his patience because she's so annoyingly nice that he couldn't possibly be mean to her. Not even a little bit.

Balder Holt - To Wyeth, this guy is the in-house drag. He goes to and from his jobs without a word and he only sees him when he's wounded or when there's some sort of trouble among the experiments. In short, he's never any fun. Usually he ignores Balder, but if he does have to talk to the guy, Wyeth treats him with contempt and like an idiot. In his eyes, the assassin is just barely above the poor excuses for people that sulk and whimper all around the Facility.

Leader - A source of fear and resentment, he is there for Wyeth to avoid or annoy. He's had his chances to mock him and he's been at the hands his calculating indifference. Neither are worth it. Even when he gets one up on Leader, there's always payback waiting around the corner. And when that revenge is finally served, Wyeth stays out of sorts for days. Even as he tries to cover it up and move on, he knows it may as well be on a billboard. He'd sooner chew his own tongue off than say so, but Leader scares him in ways he doesn't care to explore.
